What I learned about the Winter Solstice...
Please type a short meesage aboue what you learned from your visit to the planetarium about the Winter Solstice. What is the Winter Solstice? When is it? What questions do you have about it? How do various cultures celebrate the Winter Solstice? Which traditions did you find most interesting?

I never knew about the winter solstice and how differnt cultures used it in there belifs.For example, the Incas sacraficed a white lama for the sun to thank it for it light because, the sun is there way of life. So many cultures used the winter solstice in so many differnt ways which in my opinon was pretty dumb, but I can't blame them. Back in those times they did not know what we know now but, I know when time goes and the future comes some of our belifs won't be same and those pepole will think about us the same way as we thought about about the Incas and the rest of them.
